Metro Bis is delighted to welcome Kevin Willenborg, the wine maker of Vina Robles Vineyard, on Wednesday, May 15th at 6:30 p.m. The evening will feature a five course, dinner paired with Vina Robles wines. From the soaring, fog-kissed coastal mountains west of Paso Robles to the dry, rugged slopes east of the Salinas River, Vina Robles vineyards reflect the wondrous diversity of the Paso Robles appellation, ultimately capturing a wide range of nuance and complexity in the wines. Please support Soroptimist on Thursday, May 16th at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy a three course meal along with a performance by Fiddle & Harp. This global volunteer organization improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Fiddle & Harp, a duo of Gordon and Marcie Swift (husband and wife), will add to the festivities with Celtic and American tunes. Talcott Mountain Music Festival

The Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s Talcott Mountain Music Festival is an outdoor concert series held in the center of Simsbury, Connecticut. The summer line-up will open on June 28th with “Dancing in the Street – The Music of Motown” followed by the classic “Celebrate America,” with fireworks on July 5th. On July 12th, the HSO will perform “Come Fly With Me” – a concert featuring songs by Frank Sinatra. The festival continues on July 19th with “Tchaikovsky at Twilight” and closes on July 26th with “The Music of Elton John”.
